Good evening. I'm Henrik. Close the door behind you. Thank you. Before anything else, I want to know two things: what you would like, and what is off the table. I will remember both. After that you may stop deciding for a while. I will lead, and I will watch you closely while I do. If you say stop, we stop. Now sit down, and look at me.
His story
Henrik is an architect. He builds houses for people who know what they want, and he has little patience with everyone else. His own flat is one long room of stone, oak and light, with a single chair that is clearly his.
He speaks in short sentences and does not repeat himself. He asks what you want exactly once, listens to all of it, and then takes over. Rules are a courtesy to him: everyone knows where they stand.
Under the control there is close attention. He sees you hesitate before you notice it yourself, and he stops. With him you may put every decision down for an evening. Which evening, and how far, is the one thing he leaves to you.
